The Friends of the Minneota Library will be hosting the 5th annual Chocolate Affair on Saturday, February 13, 2010 from 6:00-9:30 p.m. at the Minneota American Legion in downtown Minneota.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m.  A catered dinner will begin the evening, followed by dance music from the popular Route 68 Big Band and unlimited access to an impressive chocolate buffet.  A silent auction will also take place throughout the evening.

      Tickets for the event are $20.00 per person and are available in Marshall at Music Street, Hy-Vee, County Fair, and in Minneota at Finnegan’s Super Valu, Gislason Hardware, and the Minneota Library.  Tickets are not available at the door, so everyone should purchase theirs by Wednesday, February 10, in order to reserve a dinner meal.  All proceeds will go toward renovating the historic O.G. Anderson Big Store in Minneota, the future home of the Minneota Public Library.
