Marshall Aquatic Center Update
New Season Opening Date
Due to weather related delays, the Marshall
Aquatic Center, scheduled to open on Saturday,
June 14, 2008, will now open on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 12:00 noon.
Open swim will continue to be held daily at the
Marshall Middle School pool from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m.
until the Aquatic Center opens. Purchased 2008 season passes can be
used for open swim at the
MMS pool. Season pool passes are available for purchase at the MCS
office or the MMS pool
entrance (through gym doors), and will be available at the Aquatic Center
once it opens.
Thank you for your patience during this
construction process.
A special “Thank you” Family Night is being planned for the Aquatic
Center
on Sunday, June 22, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. with a special rate of $5 per
family for that evening.

The Marshall
Aquatic Center is scheduled to open on June 14th, 2008 for the
season. Repairs of the floor of the pool is scheduled to begin the
week of April 21st. The Marshall City Council voted not to spend
an additional $500,000 to add amenities including a splash pad and
other other equipment and improvements to the center. The main pool
floor will be repaired but all three pools will get a new coat of
Diamond Brite. We hope by the middle of June the temperatures will
be more seasonable! |
