Wild
About Reading Coming to Your Community
Wild about Reading, a special summer
program to encourage reading and to supplement the Imagination Library
program, will be held in 16 different parks in communities in this area
this summer. Parents and child care providers are encouraged to bring
their preschool or young children to the park closest to them and enjoy
the fun!
The program will feature music,
activities, reading by United Way volunteers and animal cracker snacks.
Door prizes of children’s books will be given to child care providers
who attend with the children in their care. The time of the program in
all locations is 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. In case of bad weather, cancellation
information will be broadcast on KMHL/KKCK Radio.
